Expert and friendly dentist Dr. Beverly Moon practiced general dentistry for more than 14 years and is just as passionate about top-quality care as the day she started.

Julie

Front Office Coordinator

Bio

Julie was born in San Diego but moved as a young child with her parents and sister to the small Kansas town where her parents grew up. Other than living in North Carolina for 4 years after graduating from college, Kansas is home.

Julie and her husband graduated from Kansas State University and so did their two sons Evan and Brett. It was a K-State connection that brought Julie to the Moon family. A sorority sister asked if she could "fill in" for 2 weeks at Dr. Joe Moon's orthodontic practice. That led to a full-time 3-year position. She then came to work for Dr. Beverly Moon. Julie is thankful to be part of the Moon Signature Dentistry Team!

Julie's favorite ways to spend her free time are with her family, spoiling her dachshund, Miles, reading, and cooking.

Shanan

Clinical Coordinator

Bio

Shanan was born & raised in a couple of small Missouri towns, but her parents and two siblings consider the “Northland” as home. While her family stayed in Missouri, she & her two children transplanted to southern Johnson County Kansas in June of 2014.

Shanan is a nurturer at heart and always wanted to have a career providing care, whether in a healthcare, dental, or veterinarian setting. After pursuing a career in healthcare she found herself needing a better work/life balance having young children. She still wanted patient care to be the focus. That’s when she found the Midwest Dental Assistant’s School, became certified in 2017 & has been working in dental ever since. She was blessed to find Dr. Moon & joined her team in December 2022.

When she is not busy providing patient care alongside Dr. Moon, she is spending time with her husband, and their blended family of 4 kids & fur babies. Shanan loves painting, drawing, crafts, and going to craft shows with her mother-in-love, gardening, and cooking.

Nichole

Dental Hygienist

Bio

Nichole was born in a small Missouri town but has called Kansas home since she was 8 years old. Ever since she was a little girl, Nichole was interested in pursuing a career in the dental field. In 2017, her dream became a reality when she graduated with high honors from Concorde Career College as a Dental Hygienist. She keeps up her skills by obtaining continuing education credits and is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Nichole found her dental home with Dr. Moon in February 2023 after a mutual connection introduced them.

When she is not busy educating people on their oral hygiene, she is spending her time on the go with her husband and 3 boys. Nichole loves to do a variety of crafting, traveling, and anything related to Harry Potter.

Tannis

Dental Hygienist

Bio

Tannis was primarily raised in Texas and enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 2006 after graduating high school. After almost 9 years of traveling the world to various duty stations as a multimedia specialist and Embassy security guard, Tannis was honorably discharged from the Corps and eventually moved to Kansas City to be closer to family there. After a year of dental assisting, she then decided to pursue Dental Hygiene at Concorde Career College. While earning her degree, she taught at a swim school where she met the Moon family and later joined the team at Moon Signature Dentistry. In her free time, Tannis enjoys hiking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, and reading about natural health solutions.
